Who would have thought that once again we would be sending out this notification? But, it is with much disappointment that the Rotary Club of Shelburne must inform our loyal supporters that we have made the decision to postpone the Heritage Music Festival and 70th Canadian Open Old Time Fiddle Championship.

This was not a decision that was made lightly but is the correct decision given the uncertainty with regard to COVID 19. Primarily, we must ensure that we protect the health of our supporters, contestants and volunteers but also, since the HMF is a fundraiser, we must all feel confident that we will have the support and attendance to make the event a success. To this end, the Heritage Music Festival and 70th Canadian Open Old Time Fiddle Championship will take place August 4 – 7, 2022.

Our hope is that you will consider joining us again in the same capacity in 2022.

We are however making plans for some outdoor, socially responsible musical events this summer. Please check our website, social media and local news outlets as details become available.

Once again, we thank you for your continued support and we wish you all the best of health and happiness until we see you at the HMF and 70th Fiddle Championship in 2022.

Sincerely,

Rotary Club of Shelburne
HMF Committee
