Shelburne Rotary celebrates International Women’s Day on March 8.
We recognize the achievements and potential of women in our club, community, Canada, and around the world. And we advocate for gender equality.
It was in 1992 that Shelburne Rotary welcomed our first female member, Dr. Colette Whiting, who is still a member. Today, over half our members are women and make up over half of our leadership positions.
We acknowledge and thank them for all they do to make our community and the world a better place.
