Our inbound youth exchange student, Natalie, arrived from Switzerland on August 28. She hit the ground running, spending the Labour Day long weekend at her first host family’s cottage, going fishing for the first time in her life. Yes, she had beginner’s luck in catching some fish!
She joined Shelburne Rotary at our September 4 meeting, to meet all the members of the Club, as well as Rotarians from the Orangeville club that are assisting us with the Youth Exchange Program.
Natalie presented Shelburne Rotary with her hometown Rotary Club flag and also a flag from her town.
Natalie will be attending Centre Dufferin District High School in Shelburne and exploring all things Canadian.
