At our November 6 meeting we had a presentation from Bethell Hospice about their Butterfly Bereavement Project to recognize National Grief and Bereavement Day and Children’s Grief Awareness Day.
We participated in the project by colouring vellum butterflies while thinking of loved ones who have passed.
The following week, we were able to see the installation of a total of 3500 butterflies on our tour of the Headwaters Health Care Centre’s MRI and Digital Imaging Department, which we have supported through our fundraising efforts.
