On April 10, members and friends of Shelburne Rotary toured the maple syrup operation of member Caroline and her husband Ken. Their operation, 4M – Mikoliew Mach Mulmur Maple, is located on the 1st Line of Mulmur north of Highway 89. The tour included a walk down to the tapped trees, an explanation of the entire process of getting from sap to syrup, and a tasting of sap, partially finished syrup, and two different grades of finished syrup.
