The Rotary Club of Shelburne is proud to sponsor the youth award for the Museum of Dufferin’s (MoD’s) juried photography exhibit Life in the Country.
The winner of the award was Eyes of the Forest by Gabby De Vuono-Fraser (@gabbydevuonofraser_photos).
“Every few years, a family of owls settles in the trees in my backyard for the summer before flying away. They always keep their distance, but we keep our eye on them.
One day they were perched in the trees like usual, although this time they were closer to the ground in open and low areas. I went out with my camera and took what has become one of my favourite pictures.”
The exhibit is open now until May 31, 2025 at the Museum of Dufferin.
